Faith That Amazed Jesus

DAILY PRAYER: 

Father God, thank you for this beautiful new day, a day you made just for us, for just a time as this! Lord, I ask that you send Your Spirit to minister to ours today.  Let us be well nourished in Your word. Lord, guide our hearts and minds in a way that grows our faith to new levels. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray ~amen.

TODAY’S MESSAGE: 

Luke‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.”

Pastor’s INSIGHT:

Friends, 

Jesus received the centurion’s humble confession that he was unworthy to host Him, and his confidence that Christ needed only to speak for the servant to be healed.

Brothers and Sisters,

As a military officer, the centurion understood delegated authority: commands given by one with rightful authority are carried out. He recognized Jesus as an authority figure far greater than Rome’s.

‭‭Church,

Jesus openly remarked on this Gentile’s faith as extraordinary, greater than any found even in Israel. The centurion had not demanded a sign, sought personal recognition, or counted on his own good works. He rested entirely upon Christ’s power and word.

Disciples,

Jesus made the centurion’s faith a public lesson for His disciples and the surrounding crowd of people. The centurion's humility in acknowledging Jesus' authority is a model for us. We should approach God with humility, recognizing His power and our need for His intervention. The centurion's faith was not passive; it prompted him to seek Jesus' help. Our faith should also lead us to actively seek God's will and intervention in our lives.

The Mercy We Didn't Earn

DAILY PRAYER: 

Lord, help us to be merciful, forgiving, and compassionate, just as You are merciful to us. Let Your love shine through us today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”

Pastor’s INSIGHT:

Friends, 

God has shown each of us mercy, and Jesus calls us to share that same mercy with others. We all make mistakes and need grace.

Let’s choose to forgive, show compassion, and love one another, just as our Heavenly Father loves us.

Be merciful. Be kind. Be a reflection of Jesus wherever you go.

Brothers and Sisters,

Jesus reminds us that we are called to show mercy because our Heavenly Father has shown mercy to us. When someone hurts us or falls short, let’s choose grace instead of judgment, forgiveness instead of bitterness, and love instead of anger.

We may not always agree with one another, but we can always choose to treat each other with the mercy of Christ.

Let’s be examples of God’s mercy everywhere we go.

Church,

We are called to be a people known for mercy, grace, forgiveness, and love. Just as our Heavenly Father has shown mercy to us, we should show mercy to those around us.

Let the world see Christ through the way we treat people—not with judgment and condemnation, but with a heart full of compassion.

Church, let us be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing mercy wherever we go. 

Disciples,

Jesus calls us to show the same mercy that God has shown us. We will encounter people who hurt us, disappoint us, or make mistakes—but we are called to respond with grace, forgiveness, and compassion.

As disciples, mercy should be seen in how we treat others. We don’t deserve God’s mercy, yet He freely gives it to us. So let us freely extend that same mercy to others.

Called to Repentance

DAILY PRAYER: 

Father, how I praise Your name that You came for me, a sick man needing Salvation. Amen

TODAY’S MESSAGE: 

I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent. Luke 5:32

Friends, 

Repentance is to turn away from one's sins, and the act of turning from sin can only result in turning towards Jesus. Amen, friends

Brothers and Sisters,

Please keep this in mind: however good we think we may be in comparison with other people, we are all sinners, for we have fallen short of God's standard, period

Church,

Every one of us, every man and woman, is spiritually sick, but praise Jesus, He did not come to call the righteous, but to call us sinners to repentance. 

Disciples,

For it is only in Jesus that we discover forgiveness, friends, and it is only in Him that we gain eternal life.

Led Into the Wilderness

DAILY PRAYER: 

Lord Jesus, fill us with Your Holy Spirit and lead us through every wilderness. Give us strength to stand firm, faith to trust You, and courage to follow wherever You lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

TODAY’S MESSAGE: 

Luke 4:1 KJV

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,”

Pastor’s INSIGHT:

Friends, 

There will be times when God leads us through a wilderness season. It may feel lonely, difficult, or confusing, but remember: Jesus was in the wilderness too, and He was not alone. When life gets hard, don’t give up. Keep praying, keep trusting God, and keep walking with Jesus. The wilderness is not where your story ends—it may be where God is preparing you for something greater. Stay strong. Keep the faith. Let the Holy Spirit lead you. 

Brothers and Sisters,

Sometimes God will lead us into a wilderness season—not to abandon us, but to strengthen us. Jesus was led by the Spirit, and even in the wilderness, He remained faithful to the Father. When you find yourself in a difficult season, don’t think God has forgotten you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep following the leading of the Holy Spirit. The wilderness may be hard, but God can use it to prepare you for what is ahead. Stay strong. Stay faithful. Keep your eyes on Jesus. 

Church,

The Church must remember that being led by God does not mean we will never face difficult seasons. Jesus Himself was led into the wilderness, yet He was full of the Holy Ghost. When the Church faces trials, temptation, or uncertainty, we must not run from God—we must draw closer to Him. Stay grounded in His Word, led by His Spirit, and faithful to Christ. The wilderness is not the end of the journey. God can use the wilderness to prepare us for what He has called us to do.

Disciples,

Jesus shows us that being led by the Spirit doesn’t always mean the road will be easy. Sometimes God leads us into places of testing, loneliness, and uncertainty—but He never leaves us there alone. As disciples, we are called to follow Jesus wherever the Spirit leads. When temptation comes, when the wilderness gets hard, and when we don’t understand the path, stay faithful, stay in God’s Word, and keep following Jesus. The wilderness may test your faith, but it can also strengthen your walk with Christ.

What does it mean to be a servant-leader in God's ministry?

DAILY PRAYER: 

Father, I look forward to the task you have for me. Till that day comes, I will prepare. Amen

TODAY’S MESSAGE: 

Jesus was about thirty years old when he began his public ministry. Jesus was known as the son of Joseph. Joseph was the son of Heli. Luke 3:23

Friends, 

Jesus had to go through many years of preparation before He was ready to fulfil the ministry for which He had been appointed, and we too should follow in His footsteps, learning and preparing to be sent out into the mission field as Servants. 

Brothers and Sisters,

Patience is important, so I pray those willing to be used are willing to wait as long as it takes for God to prepare you for the work He has given you to do, and let’s remember that there are no shortcuts to be Servant-Leaders. 

Church,

It is a process of new beginnings that starts at salvation, continues through life, and at the appointed time, will be used by Jesus for His glory.

Disciples,

He prepares and equips us for the work that He has for us to do, friends, and my question below is so important, so what is your answer…….

Disciples share good news of Jesus' salvation

DAILY PRAYER:

Father, thank You for sending Jesus as our Savior. Replace our fear with faith, fill us with the joy of knowing Christ, and give us courage to share the Good News with others. In Jesus’ name, amen.

TODAY'S MESSAGE:

“But the angel said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.’” — Luke 2:10 (CSB)

Friends,

The shepherds were afraid, but heaven brought a message that changed everything: The Savior had come. Jesus came to replace fear with hope and bring salvation to a lost world.

Brothers and Sisters,

The Gospel is “good news of great joy.”

* Don't let fear control your faith.

* Find your joy in Jesus.

* Remember what Christ has saved you from.

* Share the Good News with someone.

Church,

The angel said this message was “for all the people.” The Gospel was never meant to stay inside the church. We have Good News that a lost world desperately needs to hear.

Disciples,

Believe the Good News.

Live the Good News.

Share the Good News.

Tell somebody about Jesus.

If Jesus is the greatest news we've ever received, we shouldn't keep Him to ourselves.

For No Word from God Will Ever Fail

DAILY PRAYER: 

Father God, we come to You in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for this new and beautiful day that you gave us today. Lord, we ask that You open our eyes, ears, hearts, and minds to the message You have for us today. Give us ears to hear, and set our hearts ablaze for You! Father God, we thank You for Your care and provision in our lives, and for Your Holy Spirit with us! Amen.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:

“For no word from God will ever fail.”

Pastor’s INSIGHT:

Friends,

The angel Gabriel declares that Mary’s calling is rooted in the unfailing authority of God’s spoken promise.

Brothers and Sisters,

The Lord had already announced the Messiah’s coming through Israel’s prophets and had preserved the line of David despite centuries of rebellion, exile, and waiting.

Church,

God’s word created the heavens and the earth, sustained His covenant with Abraham, and brought His purposes to pass in history. Mary’s conception did not rest on human ability, but on the Creator God, who speaks and fulfills all He has declared.

Disciples,

God's power is limitless, and His promises are always fulfilled. We as believers can trust in His ability to accomplish what seems impossible. Like Mary, we are called to have faith in God's word, even when circumstances seem insurmountable. Our faith should rest in His unchanging nature.
